SIFA, which stands for the Soshigaya International Friendship Association, is a volunteer organization which has a mission to help foreign students studying in Japan. SIFA helps foreign students not only to live in Japan but also to gain a better understanding of Japanese life through giving students an opportunity to participate in Japanese cultural and traditional activities. SIFA also promotes friendship between foreign students and the Japanese community. ISA and SIFA are always working hand in hand in providing activities and events for the students residing at the Soshigaya International Dormitory.
